Silk matka is often called raw silk or natural silk, and is hand loomed to give it a slightly uneven colouring.
This one has a partial lurex warp in gold, and hand dyed silk threads of various thicknesses in yellows, greens and cream woven in a stripe pattern. 110cm wide.
This fabric is ideal for jackets, suits and light summer coats, as well as looking beautiful when used in interiors and soft furnishings.
