This is a remnant piece of a luxurious, soft, drapey silk velvet composed of a black silk chiffon base and a deep aubergine viscose pile, giving a dark prune purple colour.
This velvet can also be used for devoré and is dyeable. 82% viscose 18% silk, approx 180g per linear metre.
